BTO Jan 2012 - Punggol, Waterway Sunbeam

Located along My Waterway@Punggol and Punggol Drive, Waterway Sunbeam comprises five residential blocks ranging from 11 to 18 storeys in height. Choose from 661 units of 3-, 4- and 5-room Standard flats. The name ‘Waterway Sunbeam’ describes the development’s location by the eastern end of the waterway and also makes reference to the Malayan Sunbeam butterfly. The colours of the development’s facades draw inspiration from the characteristic silvery-white hues found on the wings of this butterfly.

Balloting for a 5-room. There is a total of 216 units. Currently as of 15 Jan 2012, 5.55pm, there is a total of 687 applicants and of which first timer is 1.7*. Hope we can get a good number...

*First-timer application rate refers to the number of first-timer applications divided by 95% of the total flat supply, while second-timer application rate refers to the number of second-timer applications divided by 5% of the total flat supply. (However, up to 15% of the flats are also set aside for quota-based priority schemes, where HDB does not differentiate between first-timers and second-timers. At least 95% of the remaining flats are set aside for first timers. If there are fewer first-timers than the number of flats set aside for them, the excess flats will be allocated to second-timers.)
